Deborah Robin Mech, aka DeArah, is a Master Teacher, Energy Worker, Intuitive Medium, Reverend, Educational Visionary, Integrated Health and Wellness Consultant, and Musical Entrepreneur.
A foremost expert in Whole-Child/Whole-Person Holistic Education, Deborah describes that teachable classroom moment while just on the verge of a spiritual gang war.
Deborah is a California School Leadership Academy graduate; holds a B.A. in English and Literature (University of Massachusetts-Amherst); the M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction; the California Preliminary Administrative Credential (San Diego State University); and an M.S. in Special Education (National University). She has served Mild/Moderate/Severe; ADHD; Autism Spectrum; Gen Ed; Remedial; and GATE (Gifted and Talented) populations.
Deborah is also the founder of URU-Universal Resources Unlimited®, providing a variety of Human Development and Professional Growth Seminars since 1998 through her adjunct company, URU® Alternative Educational Systems.
Deborah, certificated by the IIRP-International Institute of Restorative Practices Trainer of Trainers, helped to implement Restorative Justice Departments in both local and county districts. A nationally known expert in Integrated Health and Wellness, she also provides her trainings to community Interfaith Groups and Interfaith clubs in schools.
A generator of the Whole-Child Holistic Education Movement for over 40 years, Deborah believes that a comprehensive and well-rounded education must go beyond the usual physical, mental-academic, and socio-emotional realms:

Deborah lives in a charmingly quiet neighborhood in Southern Oregon and is surrounded by the love of her neighbors’ dogs who bark gleefully as she writes.
